Pawnee is 15.3 hands and 1200 pounds. His conformation is excellent with a gentle temperament to match. And naturally, he gaits like a dream, or he wouldn't be at our place! If that isn't enough, he is also a double dilute smoky cream in color. This means that he carries two cream genes and can only produce palomino, buckskin and smoky black offspring! Pawnee will never produce a sorrel foal. He will never produce white like himself unless bred to a mare who also has a cream gene. I have always disagreed with folks who breed for color at the expense of quality. This horse is absolutely the best quality of any horse on Earth! He will be standing here for many years to come, producing the finest gaited & uniquely colored foals!

Pawnee is not just your usual Cremello. He is actually a Smokey Creme. What this
means is that underneath all that creme he is a Black horse. Therefore he can
produce smoky blacks and buckskins in addition to Palomino, even when bred to
red mares! The dilute foal guarantee means that all Pawnee's foals will carry
the cream gene. Your foal will be either palomino (sorrel horse with the cream
gene), buckskin (bay horse with the cream gene), or smoky black (black horse
with the cream gene) in color. A smoky black looks like a black horse and
sometimes they have a slightly brown tint by the end of the summer, but many
regular blacks have that as well. Many smoky black horses are a gorgeous
chocolate color, ranging from light milk chocolate to dark chocolate or even
deep black! A great
thing about smoky black horses is that they are beautifully colored, but
also hide the cream gene in their genetic base, so they will produce a dilute
foal at least half of the time should you decide to breed them.
